Philosophy of ministry: What is HUB?
H. Healing the broken hearted
U. Uniting the lost
B. Building up and bonding the fellowship of believers
-We will preach the truth of scripture and the gospel of Jesus Christ. The truth that salvation is available to all that receive this free gift through Jesus' work on the cross.
-We the church are opening ourselves to be the center of the community, to be the light in the darkness, the city on a hill, to be a lighthouse to the lost. To those that are lost and broken hearted, we will be there and available to guide them to what they are truly looking for, to be re-united with God.
-We will build up disciples of Jesus Christ through preaching the Word to students, leading them in Worship, supporting them in Life's struggles, and urging them in Service. As Jesus built up disciples, those disciples also shared their lives and entered into God's fellowship with one another. Not only are we building up disciples, we are bonding the fellowship of believers.
-We will emphasize community as a means of fellowship and spiritual formation.
-We will provide service opportunities for students in order to develop well rounded disciples of Jesus and to afford them the maximum spiritual benefit to their life.
-As students grow in spiritual maturity, we will get them involved in leadership opportunities within The Hub.
The HUB meets every Wednesday Night at 6pm-----Open to all 4th graders and up.
